Testing corrosion rates requires realistic simulations of temperature, pressure, and flow environments. Autoclave manufactures vessels and systems that test corrosion rates of components or produce oxide coatings for various applications including nuclear components under pre-specified conditions. Available with a bolted or set screw closure, these single ended units are designed to operate vertically at pressures from 2,000 psi to 10,000 psi (138 - 690 bar).



  • Operating Pressures from 2,000 - 10,000 psi typical (138 - 690 bar). Higher pressures available

  • Temperatures to 900°F (482°C)

  • Standard size: 5 - 24" (127 - 610 mm) inside diameter/ 2 - 20' ( .61 - 6.1 Meters) inside length, special sizes are available

  • Flexitallic gasket or metal seals are standard

  • ASME CE, TUV or other applicable code stamps are available

  • Available in Stainless Steels, 304, 316 and 347

  • INCONEL® and INCOLLOY® Alloys optional.

Parker Autoclave's Corrosion Test Vessels are a single-end design, mounted vertically to minimize space requirements. The flexatallic gasket or metal seal are dependable, resilient and, time proven sealing methods for this type of application.
