Parker Autoclave Engineers utilizes only the most stringent design practices in the pressure vessel industry. Whether ASME code stamped approvals are needed or certification to the European Pressure Equipment Directive is specified, AED conforms to all specifications for design and manufacturing of the required equipment.

FEATURES

  • AED Design practices conform to all requirements of ASME Code, Section VIII, Division 1, 2 or 3.

  • A Professional Engineer signs off ASME code calculations prior to submission to the code inspector, when required.

  • The Engineering Department utilizes linear and non-linear Finite Element Analysis as part of many pressure vessel designs.

  • European compliance is accomplished by designing in accordance with the CE regulations and the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC, modules A1, D1, H, & H1.

  • Canadian Registration Numbers (CRN) are obtained, as required by Parker Autoclave Engineers’ customers in Canada.

BENEFITS

Nearly every customer throughout the world can purchase pressure vessels from Parker Autoclave Engineers that meet the specific design standards in their state, province, or country.

Customers in areas where no design restrictions or code standards exist, will still receive pressure vessels designed to meet the toughest standards in
the industry.

Parker Autoclave Engineers typically overdesigns pressure vessels wherever possible so that, if future re-machining is required, the vessel often will still be able to meet ASME code requirements without
de-rating the vessel.
